Indas: The recently held annual show at Indas High School marked the 125th anniversary of the institution. School was established in 31st Aug, 1893. From this time every year school had celebrate their foundation day with various cultural program. Now 31st Aug 2017, school had celebrate their glorious 125 years movement, and in 30th Aug 2018, school will complete it's 125 years age, and another one step ahead for next year.
Rabindra Jayanti is an annually celebrated cultural festival, prevalent among Bengalis around the world, in the remembrance of Rabindranath Tagore's birthday anniversary. It is celebrated in early May, on the 25th day of the Bengali month of Boishakh. Indas High School celebrate Rabindra Jayanti in a grand way. Kabipranam , songs (Rabindra Sangeet), poetry, dances and drama, written and composed by Tagore, were organized in this particular day as a tribute to Tagore and his works.
Excursions are a must, especially for students. They have a great educational value. That is why schools often organize excursions for the students. Apart from educating students and exposing them to various experiences, it is a great means of recreation. It is the day all students wait for eagerly.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (SBA) is a campaign in India that aims to clean up the streets, roads. More than 3 million government employees and school and college students participated in the drive on the occasion. Indas high school has also participate this events. All teachers, students and all non-teaching staff are participate to clean our school environment.

Organizing sports events plays very important role in school education. On the other hand they are important, because they help children acquire sport-specific theoretical and practical knowledge, develop their motoric skills.
Independence Day is an annual national festival celebrated as anniversary of national independence to commemorate India’s independence from British Empire on 15 of August in 1947.Various cultural programs were conducted with the aim of developing the leadership qualities of children. The function concluded with the rendition of the national anthem.

Teacher's Day is celebrated to honor Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. The idea of celebrating Teachers' Day took root in many countries during the 19th century.
Saraswati Puja is one festival that’s always associated with a lot happy or sad memories of almost every Bengali. Saraswati Puja was celebrated with great fervor as on calendar’s day at Indas High School. All the teachers and students gathered at the school premises to celebrate the day. Puja was offered to the Goddess of Learning by Head Boy and Head Girl of the school, followed by a cultural celebration. A beautiful rendition from students transcended the ambience. It was an attempt to preserve the Indian culture, to impart a sense of respect towards long established traditions.
Now a day Yoga is a part of the national elementary school curriculum. It is showing up in physical education programs, recess and break-period activities, and even classrooms, integrated into topics including mathematics, art, and science. Our mission is to empower students and teachers with yoga-inspired exercises to promote lifetime wellness. Our vision is to make yoga available in all schools so that students and teachers develop body-mind awareness and the ability to nurture their own well-being. On 21st Jun, we celebrate The International Yoga Day at our school premises.
